My name is Amaia Marie Echanis-Lincoln and I am an Artist, Metalsmith and Jeweler living in Southern Vermont. I received a BFA in Metalsmithing & Jewelry from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in 2017.

I make a variety of art, objects, and jewelry that almost always incorporates metal as a main component. My work spans from functional objects, to wearable art, and interactive or mobile pieces. I like to say that I make “Rings and Things”. I am influenced by what is around me, and I love the process of merging art and function into one. Often my work comes about through my admiration for seemingly mundane things, or from wherever I may find a bit of whimsy.
